Meteor Shower Tonight...well Early Morning!

If you are a sky lover like myself, then you might be interested in knowing that there is a Meteor Shower that is supposed to happen tonight!  I have fond memories of dragging "retired" mattress into the backyard as a child to watch for shoot stars.  That's one of the joys of growing up in the country with little light to ruin a beautiful night sky.

{Annual Quadrantid Meteor Shower}

Starts: 11pm in each Time Zone according to NASA
Best Viewing Time: 3am to Dawn
The brightness of the moon may hinder the showers visibility.
Expect 60-100 meteors/hour

CNN iReporter Abe Blair, a professional photographer, www.blindmanphotos.com shot pictures of the Perseid meteor shower over Crater Lake, Oregon for six to seven hours in August 2012.

Much love.
