This weekend my house will be completely Christmas-tized aside from
the tree which will be carefully selected and decorated next weekend! I am a fan of extending the Christmas
decorating process as long as possible, but I also do not start decorating
until the first of December. Luckily, December 1st is a Saturday, so I can go full force and dominate the decorating!! I am sooo excited!!
This year I
have some grand plans for decorating and crafting!
Little man and I are going to be busy beavers tomorrow! Here is a taste of what I have planned for
us!
Sock Snowmen
Glass Vases
Wrapped in paper snowflakes with a little sea salt and a candle inside!
Christmas
Balls mod podged with newspaper or scrap paper and rolled in sparkles!
Christmas
Tree Made out of books with a little addition of big bulbed Christmas
lights!
Waterfall of
lights in our dining area!
Add tulle
to our lights in our Nativity to add a soft glow
I'm so excited to start decorating!! I'll be sure to post pictures of the crafting process and of the final decorations!! Happy Weekend everyone!!
Much love.
Such cool ideas! I have two glass ornaments laying around that I've been trying to figure out what to do with. Going to try that idea!
ReplyDeleteThanks! There are some great ideas on pinterest! One that is great for kids - take a drawing or their christmas letter and put it in an ornament with glitter, tie a ribbon on top, date it...could be a cute keepsafe :)
DeleteUgh, I wish my place was clean enough to start decorating tomorrow! I fail miserably. I really dig the Christmas newspaper-glitter ornaments and the lit-up book pile! Can't wait to see what you guys accomplish!
ReplyDeleteMake it your mission to clean that place up! You will feel so much better once all the clutter is gone! I know I do! Then, you can decorate for CHRISTMAS!!
DeleteI can't wait to see what we accomplish either!
