Coffee Talk: Week 8

I'm a day late on this whole Thursday Coffee Talk with Natalie Blair and I am sooo sorry.  This week has been Ca-Ra-Zee with the hurricane and work and Halloween.  Oh Em Gee!

Coffee Talk with Natalie Blair

I promise nexts weeks answers will have more spunk to them.

If you could punch ANY celebrity in the face, who would it be and why?

Chris Brown.  I swear he is more popular now that he has been accused of physical abuse.  What is wrong with this world?  Ahh!  He and all his fans make me so mad.

If you could go streaking (running naked for those who don't know) anywhere and get away with it, where would you do it?

Phillies baseball stadium, but Lord oh Lord I would need to workout and look amazing to actually streak anywhere.

What’s more important to a relationship: common values or commonalities (like tastes in music, interests, etc.)?

Common Values.

From my experience, if two people don’t share values, life is much more challenging.  When two people share values, they tend to understand different taste and either support the other’s interests or what to share in/learn about the interests.

I totally dig new experiences, so being with someone who doesn’t (or didn’t) love the things I love and vice versa has opened my eyes.  I love dancing & Halloween, he didn’t enjoy, but now he does!

He loves golfing, I never picked up a club aside from put put and now we golf together and I support his love of the game.

It is important to have a few common interests as well.  We both love reading, being with the family, eating out, being with family, baseball…

Check out the book: The Five Love Languages

Would you rather be insane in a functional society, or one of the people running a dysfunctional society?

My desire to run a society is below zero, so by default, I’d be insane in a functional society.  At least I would have my crazy awesome mind to live in.

In all seriousness, I think one of the worst jobs for me would be to be president.  The stress, the need to pretend like you know what you are talking about because you were briefed on it or someone wrote it for you, would make me go insane.  I like being held responsible, but only for things that I truly believe in and actually know something about.  Being president, while may be a dream for some, is a personal nightmare for me. Insanity all the way baby!

What’s your favorite type of pickle? Dill? Bread ‘n Butter? Spicy?

Chilled, crunchy pickles, that have that pickled taste. I am a huge fan of homemade pickles!

Much love.

  1. I laughed out loud with the first question! So true. I am forever on the hunt for the perfect pickle. I love dill like the ones you get in those deli barrels. Can never seem to find them in jars.

    1. I'm glad I made you laugh! It's so true. When I find the perfect pickle, I'll let you know. You have to make them if you want them in jars...or get them from a mom and pop place. I have yet to find them where I live now, but I had a place in PA that I loved. It was literally a farmer that sold pickles from his barn. :)
